You may know Dan Reynolds as the lead singer of the Grammy award-winning band Imagine Dragons. What you may not know about Dan is that he has been fighting ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a form of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), for more than a decade. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dan Reynolds was diagnosed with AS in his early 20s and has a family history of autoimmune diseases. Now, he’s sharing his story to help raise awareness of a hidden condition that affects millions of people.

This is Dan Reynolds' healthy routine for managing AS
- Follow an anti-inflammatory diet
- Avoid red meat and eat lots of chicken and vegetables
- Have little to no artificial sugar
- Drink lots of water and take vitamins daily
- Keep moving and stretch regularly
- Concentrate on core strengthening exercises, like yoga
- Avoid strenuous exercises
